We had another doctor's appointment today. Ryder is having a touch time fighting off this cold he has (which is making him a little wheezy) so we had to go back for a follow up. We found out that Ryder has yet another (this is number 6) ear infection. The doctor is now sending us to an ENT to see if Ryder is a candidate for tubes in his ears since he is not able to fight off the ear infections and they keep coming back and she is running out of options for him. She called Ryder her "special project" (mommy and daddy don't like that too much, we just assume only see the doctor on well-child visits). My poor baby now is on an antibiotic for his ears, breathing treatment (again) for his wheezing (they have to get the wheezing under control before the ENT would consider surgery (if that is where we end up) and another medication to help with acid reflux that can be caused by the medications he is on. Poor guy!! He is a trooper though, he is smiling and laughing like normal today!). We even got through his breathing treatment this morning without any tears!! More to come...
