Well, it's been a bit of a rough week at the McKnight household. Ryder got really really sick last weekend with what seemed like the flu. We were having a hard time getting fluids down him all day on Sunday (had to resort to medicine syringes of Pedialyte (not sure how to spell that)). He was feeling a little better on Monday, but he ended up getting pink eye in his other eye so he could not go into daycare (which was probably best anyway). He got to stay home and hang out with Daddy all day on Monday which I think he LOVED!! We brought him back to the daycare on Tuesday and they said he was very "emotional" all day and could not be consoled. He refused his morning bottle, but seemed to get better in the afternoon. On Tuesday night he was VERY fussy again and could not be consoled. Yesterday, mommy ended up getting very sick (similar flu-like feeling and very dizzy) and then the daycare called and said that Ryder again was very emotional/fussy/crying and refusing to eat. Bren brought him home and he took a nice long nap. He was still very fussy on and off last night so we aren't quite sure what the deal is because for those of you who know him well, he is usually always smiling and happy. We have our ENT follow up today so we are hoping to rule out an ear infection and strep. Hopefully he will be feeling better soon and back to himself.
