Ryder has had a rough past few days. Starting last week he got 2 new teeth in the very back on the top, which HURT a lot! Then his left ear started to drain some yucky fluid so we started him on ear drops, which seemed to clear things up by Thursday night. Then on friday afternoon his temp spiked to 102.5, but after some Tylenol seemed to be acting ok. Friday night was a long night for my mom (she was babysitting, of course, and Ry couldn't sleep). Sorry MOM!! Saturday was his worst day. He wasn't eating or drinking well, he got pink eye in both eyes, and was extremly lethargic (and daddy was out of town :(. His temp spiked up to about 104 that day (any higher and the DR recommended I take him to the ER...luckily it never went higher than that). Then, on Sunday his left ear, that we thought was clear, started bleeding and oozing. So...a trip to the DR yesterday and we find out that he has, of course, another ear infection and Herpangina (sores in his throat, which explains the no eating). Ryder had to have 2 shots of antibitocs yesterday, 2 shots today and has to have 2 more tomorrow. (oh and today he developed a viral rash on the trunk of his body which is sweet). Our poor bubba. The pic above is on the way home from the DR today. Hopefully he will be all better soon and back to himself! Mommy was feeling icky yesterday but both Bren and I seem to be feeling better today.
